- Student-teacher is great to work with and we seem to have a lot in common.
- My room is next to my bestie's. (This is good, except when we both need to do work.)
- I was actually on time everyday. That's a first.
- We have a 4-day weekend (with Friday and Monday off).
- No real lesson planning necessary, as we were instructed not to do "real work" on the first day, just icebreakers. (Actually, I found this a lot harder to do than doing "real work"!)
The downside:
- I pulled my groin. Again. Thanks to all of the crap I had to move around in my unprepared classroom. Ouch!
- My computer at school is not connected, and my computer at home is on the fritz. Thank goodness for hubby's computer.
- I have no syllabus ready, thanks to a wasted week of meetings and computer issues.
- I have a class with 32 students, another with 31, two with 30, one with 17, and one with 9. I only have 30 desks. This should be fun.
- My study hall students (one of the groups of 30) are already attitudinal. Nothing like having to be a disciplinarian in a study hall!
- Although my AP class only has 9 students, I don't have enough grammar books for them because the wrong books were ordered.
- Did I mention the excruciating groin pain?
That's all I have for this week. I hope next week is better, seeing as it's another 3-day week. (We get Thursday off as well for Rosh Hashanah.)
I hope your week was better than mine!

Well, I didn't pull my groin--but I also had some worthless and time-wasting inservice days. I dragged desks around too. I have 37,36,33,26 and 34. Some attitudes, but not a whole group of them like your study hall. All in all, I think my week was a teeny bit better. (not much though if that's any consolation)
