Day 22

Quite an interesting day for me.

During the 3rd block, towards the end of the period, I suddenly became nauseus, dizzy, and light-headed. Had I continued to stand and talk instead of putting one student in charge of collecting the quizzes we were just reviewing and another in charge of passing out the homework, I would've most likely fainted right then in there in front of 28 high schoolers. Student In Charge of Collecting the Quizzes came over to me when he was done and asked if I was okay. He started fanning me with the quizzes, which actually turned out to be very helpful. I felt better right after he did that for about a minute.

Then I had to go do lunch duty. Never exciting. I bought some soup in the caf to eat, but I knew I'd have no time to eat it before my next class started, so I took it with me back to my room.

Next class came in. Somewhere around 15 minutes before class was over, I started to have that feeling AGAIN. I was, again, in the middle of talking. Good thing I had planned to show one of those silly textbook videos because I had to cut straight to that. While they were watching that, I had time to sit and eat my soup (which was thankfully still hot thanks to the styrofoam insulation!). I started to feel better. One more class, then my next prep, I thought.

Thankfully I made it through the next class w/o incident. At the end of the day though, I was still feeling somewhat woozy. I dunno what that's all about. Talking about it doesn't help because I just start feeling woozy all over again. Hopefully I'll sleep it off by tomorrow.

On top of all of that, I twisted my ankle after school walking to the main office. Things are just greeeeat!
