It's 4am. I got home a half hour ago from my bartending/waitressing job. I sucks, but I can't quit yet. I need to build up some "experience" for better bartending jobs. It's not easy working 'til 3am when you've been up and at it and on your feet since 6am. Especially when it ends up being a slow night and tips are... blah.
Today, my 2CP and 2H took their vocabulary quizzes. I haven't graded them yet, but I looked at them as I collected them. The 2H kids are definitely "honors" kids, the kind that will study exactly what you tell them to study because they know I'll only tell them to study it if it's 1) important or 2) going to be on a quiz/test. My 2CPs, on the other hand, let's just say I got A LOT of quizzes back with only about 3 of 15 answers filled in - and I don't even know if the ones they did write are correct! Must remember not to take these kids grades personally.
Had about 5 people stay after school w/ me today in "club tarea", the club (read:detention) I have for kids who do not complete their homework before class begins. I was like, "You guys really wanna hang out on a Friday afternoon?? Okay!" Hopefully they won't do it again, because I personally do not like staying late on a Friday.
Tonight was the first varsity football game of the school year. It was also "Faculty Night", which basically means we get into the game for free and we get a FREE meal. Did I get to see it and eat it? Nope. Stupid work.
Anywho... I'm exhausted as I've been up now for 22 hours. I'm gonna crash until I can't sleep anymore!
